Gratias Studio – Terms & Conditions

1. Booking & Studio Time

  • Studio time includes setup, test shots, makeup, shooting, and wrap‑up.
  • Clients must start and end within booked hours. Extensions are billed at 1.5× the hourly rate, subject to availability.
  • Early arrival or overtime usage without pre‑approval may incur additional charges.

2. Payment & Deposit

  • Bookings above SGD 1,000 require a 50% deposit to confirm.
  • Bookings below SGD 1,000 require full payment at confirmation.
  • Bookings are only confirmed upon receipt of payment.
  • All rates are in SGD

3. Cancellation & Rescheduling

  • Cancellations made 7 or more days prior receive 100% refund (deposit forfeited if applicable).
  • Cancellations 4–6 days prior incur a 50% fee.
  • Cancellations within 3 days incur a 100% charge.
  • Clients may reschedule once (within 14 days) if notified at least 7 days in advance. Additional changes may result in forfeiture.

4. Cleaning & Housekeeping

  • A flat cleaning fee applies to all bookings. Studio-host cleaning is provided.
  • Clients are expected to return the space clean and organized.
  • Excessive mess or unreturned items may incur additional housekeeping charges.

5. Use & Damage

  • Clients receive the studio and equipment in working, clean condition.
  • Any damage or misuse is the client’s responsibility. Repair or replacement costs will apply.
  • Use of special materials (foam, dyes, fog, etc.) requires prior approval.

6. Equipment & Props

  • Clients may bring external gear subject to advance approval.
  • Unauthorized modifications or repairs are prohibited and may incur charges.
  • Storage of props/equipment before or after booking may incur storage fees.

7. Liability & Insurance

  • Clients are responsible for all attendees and their actions.
  • Gratias Studio is not liable for personal injury or loss of personal belongings.
  • Clients are advised to maintain suitable insurance for production activities.

8. Intellectual Property & Marketing Use

  • Clients retain ownership of any content they produce.
  • Gratias Studio reserves the right to use behind‑the‑scenes content (BTS photos or video) for marketing and promotional purposes unless the client opts out in writing before the shoot.
  • Studio will not publish sensitive client strategy or private materials without express permission.

9. Confidentiality

  • Gratias Studio will safeguard any confidential client information shared during the project.
  • Confidential details will not be disclosed without client’s written consent.

10. Force Majeure

  • The studio is not liable for delays or cancellations caused by unexpected events beyond control (e.g. natural disasters, lockdowns, power outages).
  • Deposits may be deferred or refunded at studio’s discretion.

11. Notices & Communication

  • All formal notices must be in English and delivered via email or WhatsApp as specified in booking documents.
  • Changes to these Terms will be communicated clearly and apply prospectively.

12. Governing Law

  • These Terms and any disputes shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Singapore.
  • Any disputes arising from these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Singapore courts.
